The forecasted torrid rain in Sydney will undoubtedly result in the races being held on a very heavy track. Based on the paper form, two horses are well weighted here: Another Wil and Celestial Legend. Unfortunately, Another Wil has been assigned a wide draw, making it extremely challenging to win from that position. While Celestial Legend carries only 49kg on its back, considering that he defeated Militarize at set weight in the Randwick Guineas and Militarize proved the form by finishing a close third in the weight-for-age George Ryder Stakes, Celestial Legend appears to be very well-weighted for this race meeting Militarize 5 kg better. The only concern lies in the absence of his regular jockey, Kerrin McEvoy. I hope Tyler Schiller can rise to the occasion in this significant event.
